Spicy stuffed peppers
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- lean ground beef - 1 lb
- onion, finely chopped - 1 c
- dash of cayenne pepper - 1 item
- cooked rice - 1/2 c
- celery salt - 1 tsp
- picante sauce - 8 oz
- green peppers tops and seeds removed - 4 item
How to make spicy stuffed peppers:
Cook peppers in salted boiling water for 3 minutes, then drain and rinse in cold water. Combine beef, onion, rice and seasonings, then spoon the mixture into the peppers. Place the peppers in a greased baking dish, top with the picante sauce and bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes or until meat is no longer pink.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Main dish, One Dish meal.
