Spicy mexican rice
Ingredients/Components
- water - 1 1
- vegetable oil - 1 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onions - 1/2 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/3 c
- chopped tomato - 1 c
- uncooked long grain rice - 1/2 c
- vegetable cooking spray - 1 item
- beef flavor bouillon cube - 1 item
How to make spicy mexican rice:
Spray skillet with cooking spray. Add oil; put on medium heat. Add rice and onions; saute about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add remaining ingredients; bring to boil. Cover; reduce heat and simmer for 25 minutes, or until tender. Yields 5 servings.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low fat, Side dish.
