Ingredients/Components
- cornstarch - 1/4 c
- all-purpose flour - 1/2 c
- ground cloves - 1/2 tsp
- ground cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- large onion, diced - 1 item
- dried oregano leaves - 1 tsp
- black pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chicken breast
- garlic clove, crushed - 1 item
- extra virgin olive oil - 6 Tbsp
- low salt chicken broth - 2 c
- dry roasted unsalted peanuts - 1/4 c
- medium green bell peppers, diced - 2 item
How to make spicy mexican chicken:
Put flour in a bag. Shake one piece of chicken at a time in the bag to coat. Heat 4 tablespoons oil in a heavy skillet over medium heat and saute the chicken 15 minutes until lightly browned on both sides. Set chicken pieces aside.
