Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- Crisco - 2 Tbsp
- hot water - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- large onions, sliced - 2 item
- ribs - 3 lb
- sauerkraut - 2 lb
How to make spareribs and sauerkraut:
Brown ribs in shortening; add onion, salt, pepper and water. Cover and simmer for 1 hour over low heat. Add sauerkraut; cover and cook for 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, Meat, Pork.
