Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • Crisco - 2 Tbsp
  • hot water - 1/2 c
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • large onions, sliced - 2 item
  • ribs - 3 lb
  • sauerkraut - 2 lb

How to make spareribs and sauerkraut:

Brown ribs in shortening; add onion, salt, pepper and water. Cover and simmer for 1 hour over low heat. Add sauerkraut; cover and cook for 20 minutes.
