Spareribs and sauerkraut
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- water - 1 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- caraway seed - 1/2 tsp
- large onions, sliced - 2 item
- spareribs - 3 lb
- can sauerkraut - 1 oz
How to make spareribs and sauerkraut:
Put ribs in broiler pan and broil for about 25 minutes or until browned. Discard fat. Cut ribs into serving pieces and sprinkle with salt and pepper. In cooker, alternate layers of ribs, onions and sauerkraut. Sprinkle with caraway seed and add water. Cook on low for 7 to 8 hours or on automatic for 3 to 4 hours.Recipe categories: Main dish, Meat, Pork.
