Stuffed manicotti
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 2 oz
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- dried thyme, crushed - 1 Tbsp
- ground beef
- dried oregano - 1 Tbsp
- onion, chopped fine - 1 item
- manicotti shells - 12 item
- clove garlic, chopped fine - 1 item
How to make stuffed manicotti:
Brown ground beef well. While browning, add onion, garlic, oregano, thyme, salt and pepper. When beef is done, drain well. Add cheese and beaten eggs. Cook over low heat until cheese is melted. Mixture will be very stiff and dry.Cook manicotti according to package directions. Using a teaspoon, stuff meat mixture into shells. Place in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Pour half the sauce into the bottom of the pan, under shells. Pour remaining sauce over shells. Bake, covered, at 350° for 30 minutes.
