Spaghetti sauce
Ingredients/Components
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- cans tomato sauce - 2 item
- large chopped onion - 1 item
- large can sliced mushrooms - 1 item
- large chopped green pepper - 1 item
- ground chuck may use 1/2 turkey meat - 2 lb
- jars Ragu chunky spaghetti sauce with mushrooms - 2 item
- bunch celery, chopped chop leaves also - 1/2 item
- garlic powder, basil, oregano and thyme - 1/2 1
How to make spaghetti sauce:
Brown meat in large pot with onion, pepper, celery stalk, salt and pepper until meat is done and veggies begin to tenderize. Add remaining ingredients, including chopped celery leaves and simmer 2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally.You may use seasoned tomato sauce and you may add up to 1 pound of meat balls or 1 pound sliced Italian sausage.
