  • salt
  • paprika - 1/4 tsp
  • can tomato sauce - 8 oz
  • oregano
  • can tomato paste - 6 oz
  • cloves garlic - 2 item
  • olive oil - 3 Tbsp
  • medium onion, chopped - 1 item
  • green pepper, chopped - 1 item
  • can sliced mushrooms - 3 oz
  • stalks celery, chopped - 4 item
  • ground chuck
  • dash of red pepper - 1 item
  • box spaghetti - 1 lb
  • can Italian tomatoes - 1 lb
  • small can water tomato paste - 1 item

How to make spaghetti sauce:

Over medium heat in large frying pan, saute garlic in olive oil until golden; remove. Add chopped onion, green pepper and celery until golden. Add ground chuck and saute until brown (10 minutes), stirring constantly. Add seasonings, stirring with beef mixture for about 5 minutes. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, 1 can of water and mushrooms. Put garlic back into mixture. Reduce heat to simmer, cover and cook for 1 hour. Serve over spaghetti noodles and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
