Spaghetti sauce
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/8 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 3 c
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chili powder - 2 tsp
- oregano - 1/4 tsp
- cans tomato paste - 2 oz
- chopped green peppers - 1/4 c
- clove minced garlic - 1 item
How to make spaghetti sauce:
Heat oil in large Dutch oven of frying pan. Add onion, green pepper and garlic. Cook slowly until onion is clear. Blend in remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer gently over very low heat for 30 minutes. Serve with or without meatballs over cooked pasta.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Italian.
