Raisin sauce for ham
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- water
- vinegar - 2 tsp
- raisins - 1/2 c
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- dry mustard - 2 tsp
- grated lemon peel - 1/4 tsp
How to make raisin sauce for ham:
Mix first 3 ingredients together; slowly add vinegar, then add next 3 ingredients. Use medium saucepan; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add 1/2 cup raisins and butter.
