Spaghetti sauce
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cooking oil - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1 tsp
- oregano to taste - 1 item
- onion powder - 1 tsp
- small can tomato paste - 1 item
- basil to taste - 1 item
- tomato paste can filled with water - 1 item
- regular-size tomato sauce - 1 item
- garlic cloves, finely diced - 3 item
How to make spaghetti sauce:
Saute garlic in oil in large skillet, or small Dutch oven pan. Add paste, water, sauce and seasonings and mix well. Simmer 4 hours for best taste, adding water if sauce gets too thick. Or can be used after simmering for minimum of 1/2 hour. Use more of seasonings for personal taste.If making meatballs, saute garlic in drippings from meatballs and omit oil. Add meatballs to sauce and simmer. Serve over spaghetti.
