Spaghetti sauce
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- Italian seasoning - 1/4 tsp
- stalks celery - 2 item
- tomato sauce - 2 c
- green pepper - 1 item
- large onion - 1 item
- cooked or canned tomatoes - 2 c
How to make spaghetti sauce:
Crumble ground beef in heated frypan. Cook and stir until lightly browned. Finely chop onion, green pepper and celery. Add to ground beef and cook until tender. Add tomato sauce, tomatoes, salt and pepper. Cover and cook slowly about 1 hour, until thickened. Serve over hot cooked spaghetti.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Italian.
