Ingredients/Components

  • pkg - 1 oz
  • water - 1/2 c
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • oregano - 1/2 tsp
  • basil - 1/2 tsp
  • garlic clove, minced - 1 item
  • medium onion, chopped - 1 item
  • fennel seed - 1/2 tsp
  • lean beef - 1 lb
  • can unsalted tomato paste - 1 oz
  • fresh tomatoes, peeled and chopped, or 1 large can tomatoes - 5 item

How to make spaghetti and meat sauce:

Brown ground beef in a large skillet; pour off fat. Add remaining ingredients, except for spaghetti. Cover and simmer over low heat for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. If sauce appears too thick, add water. Serve over spaghetti.
