Spaghetti and meat sauce
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- water - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- basil - 1/2 tsp
- garlic clove, minced - 1 item
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- fennel seed - 1/2 tsp
- lean beef - 1 lb
- can unsalted tomato paste - 1 oz
- fresh tomatoes, peeled and chopped, or 1 large can tomatoes - 5 item
How to make spaghetti and meat sauce:
Brown ground beef in a large skillet; pour off fat. Add remaining ingredients, except for spaghetti. Cover and simmer over low heat for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. If sauce appears too thick, add water. Serve over spaghetti.Recipe categories: Pasta, Main dish, Spaghetti.
