Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1/8 tsp
- large egg - 1 item
- sifted flour - 3 c
- soft butter - 2 Tbsp
- soft shortening - 2 Tbsp
- regular yeast - 1 compressed
How to make sour cream twists:
Heat sour cream to lukewarm in a large saucepan. Remove from heat; stir in 3 tablespoons sugar, salt and soda. Crumble yeast into mixture. Stir until dissolved. Add shortening, flour and egg. Mix well. Turn dough onto floured board and fold overRecipe categories: Breads, Breakfast, Yeast breads.
