- salt - 1/4 tsp
- fresh lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- milk, skim milk or yogurt - 1/2 c
- regular or low-fat cottage cheese - 1 c
How to make sour cream substitute:
Place 1/4 cup of the milk and all the remaining ingredients in a blender. Whirl at high speed until completely smooth. Add up to 1/4 cup more milk (or more to your liking).Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Low protein, Low sodium.
