Sour cream cookies

sugar
eggs - 2 item
vanilla - 1 tsp
sour cream - 1 c
salt - 1 tsp
nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
baking powder - 1 tsp
baking soda - 1 tsp
sifted flour - 4 c
of lard you can use crisco - 1/2 c

How to make sour cream cookies:

Cream shortening (lard), sugar and eggs; then add sour cream and vanilla until well mixed. Sift together dry ingredients blend into creamed mixture.

On lightly floured surface roll half of the dough to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut in desired shapes with cookie cutters. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350°oven for about 10 minutes. Cool and frost. Makes about 6 dozen.
