Ingredients/Components
- Salt - 1/4 tsp
- Vanilla - 1 tsp
- White Sugar - 3/4 c
- Eggs slightly beaten - 4 item
- Dry Bread Cubes - 2 c
- Milk scalded - 4 c
- Butter softened - 1 Tbsp
How to make bread pudding:
Soak bread in scalded milk for 5 minutes. Add sugar, butter and salt. Pour slowly over eggs; add vanilla. Mix well.Pour into greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Bake in pan of hot water at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until firm.
