Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1/4 lb
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- carton sour cream - 1 oz
- pecans, chopped - 3/4 c
- raisins - 3/4 c
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- Add sour cream, pecans and raisins
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
How to make sour cream coffee cake:
Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Add sour cream, pecans and raisins. Add flour, soda, baking powder and vanilla. Pour half of the batter into a greased tube pan. Sprinkle with half of the topping. Pour in remaining batter. Top with the remaining topping. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes.Topping:2 Tbsp. sugar2 Tbsp. brown sugar2 tsp. cinnamon1/4 tsp. nutmeg Mix all together and put in cake and on top before baking.Recipe categories: Breads, Breakfast, Coffee cakes.
