Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 Tbsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1/2 pt
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- chopped nuts
- flour - 2 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
How to make sour cream coffee cake:
Topping:1/2 c. chopped nuts1/2 c. brown sugar1 Tbsp. cinnamon Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs, vanilla and sour cream. Add all sifted dry ingredients and cream until well blended. Pour half of the batter into a greased and floured tube pan. Pour over it half of the topping. Add rest of the batter and top with remaining topping.
