Ingredients/Components

  • sour cream - 1 c
  • lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
  • paprika - 1 item
  • can sliced mushrooms, drained - 1 oz
  • envelope dry onion soup mix - 1 item
  • can cream of mushroom soup undiluted - 1 item
  • to 10 pieces chicken - 8 item
  • cooked wide egg noodles optional - 1 item
  • fresh dill, chopped or 1 tsp - 1 Tbsp

How to make sour cream and dill chicken:

Place chicken in single layers in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Sprinkle with pepper. Combine soup mix, sour cream, lemon juice, dill and mushrooms. Pour over chicken and sprinkle with paprika. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 1 hour or until tender. Serve over noodles.
