Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- granulated sugar
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1 c
- cream of tartar - 2 tsp
- sugar, mixed with 2 tsp - 2 tsp
How to make snickerdoodles:
Mix the shortening, sugar and eggs. Sift the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Mix all ingredients together except sugar-cinnamon. Roll into balls the size of walnuts. Roll balls in sugar-cinnamon mixture. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 8 to 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Hand Formed cookies.
