  • box white or yellow cake mix - 1 item
  • box Dream Whip 1 whole, small box or 1 large envelope from large box - 1 item
  • small square Philadelphia cream cheese, softened - 1 item
  • or 2 cans cherry or strawberry pie filling - 1 item

How to make dream cake:

Grease and flour pans. Bake cake according to directions on cake box.

Mix Dream Whip according to directions on box. It must hold peaks. Add softened cream cheese to whipped topping and blend together well. Spread Dream Whip mixture on top of cooled cake. Spread pie filling on top of Dream Whip mixture. Keep in refrigerator.
