Simple salisbury steak
Ingredients/Components
- ground beef - 1 lb
- dry bread crumbs - 1/3 c
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- finely chopped onion - 1/4 c
- sliced mushrooms
How to make simple salisbury steak:
In bowl, mix thoroughly 1/4 c. of the soup, beef, bread crumbs, egg and onion. Shape firmly into 6 patties. In skillet over medium high heat, cook patties, until browned on both sides. Remove patties and discard fat. Stir in remaining soup and mushrooms; return patties to skillet. Reduce heat to low. Cover; simmer 20 minutes or until done, turning patties occasionally.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Main dish, Beef.
