Simple salisbury steak
Ingredients/Components
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- sliced fresh mushrooms - 2 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can cream of mushroom soup
- minced onion - 1/4 c
- dry bread crumbs - 1/3 c
How to make simple salisbury steak:
In bowl, mix thoroughly 1/4 cup soup, the beef, bread crumbs, egg and onion. Shape firmly into 6 oval patties. In skillet over high heat, in 1 Tbsp. oil; cook patties until browned. Spoon off fat. Stir in remaining soup and the mushrooms. Return patties to skillet. Cover. Simmer 20 minutes or until done, turning occasionally. Makes 6 servings.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Main dish, Beef.
