Ingredients/Components
- shrimp
- butter - 6 Tbsp
- milk - 6 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- cream - 1 pt
- flour - 2 Tbsp
How to make shrimp soup:
Chop or grind shrimp; add to milk. Place in top of double boiler and cook over hot water for 1/2 hour. Remove from fire. Add cream, butter, flour, salt and pepper, which have been rubbed to a smooth paste.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Shellfish, Shrimp.
