Scalloped asparagus
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- melted butter - 4 Tbsp
- grated cheese - 1/2 c
- dry bread crumbs - 3/4 c
- cooked asparagus, drained - 3 c
How to make scalloped asparagus:
Place asparagus in buttered casserole. Blend melted butter, flour and milk. Cook over low heat until thickened, stirring constantly. Add cheese and salt. Pour over asparagus. Sprinkle with crumbs.
