Sausage upside-down cornbread

- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- sausage - 1 lb
- olives, sliced - 1/2 c
- Cheddar cheese, cut in 1/2-inch cubes - 4 oz
How to make sausage upside-down cornbread:
Preheat oven to 400°. Cook sausage, onion and pepper in skillet until brown and crumbly. Stir in flour and mix in next four ingredients. Remove from heat, stir in cheese and olives. Spread evenly in 9-inch square pan. Prepare muffin mix and spread over sausage. Bake 30 to 35 minutes. Let stand in pan 5 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Main dish, Savory pies.
