Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 6 item
  • milk - 2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • grated sharp Cheddar cheese - 1 c
  • ground pork sausage - 1 lb
  • slices day old bread, cubed - 2 item

How to make sausage and egg puff:

Brown sausage; drain on paper towel. Grease a 2-quart casserole dish. Spread bread cubes over bottom. Sprinkle sausage over bread cubes. Spread cheese over sausage. Beat eggs. Add milk, salt and mustard. Pour over ingredients in dish. Cover; refrigerate overnight. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for approximately 45 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.
