Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • water - 2 Tbsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
  • catsup - 2 Tbsp
  • hamburger - 1 lb
  • minced onion - 1/2 Tbsp
  • can mushroom steak sauce - 1 item
  • can mushroom soup - 1 item

How to make salisbury steak:

Mix together the hamburger, egg, salt, minced onion, catsup and Worcestershire sauce and shape into patties.

Place patties, after browned, in a 13 x 9-inch pan and add soup, steak sauce and water. Bake at 300° for 1 hour.
