Rice lasagna
Ingredients/Components
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 8 12
- hamburger - 1 lb
- cooked rice - 2 3
- stewed tomatoes - 3 c
- chopped onion to taste - 1 item
- minced garlic to taste - 1 item
- chopped green pepper to taste - 1 item
How to make rice lasagna:
Baking Temperature: 350°. Baking Time: 1 hour.Spread cooked rice in bottom of greased baking dish (13 x 9 x 2-inches). Brown hamburger, drain off fat; add Worcestershire sauce, onion, green pepper and garlic. Cook briefly until vegetables are tender. Layer on top of rice. Sprinkle 1/2 of the cheese on top of hamburger. Add a layer of stewed tomatoes and top with remaining cheese. Bake until cheese melts through rice. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
