Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar
- soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- vegetable oil - 2/3 c
- egg - 1 item
- nuts - 1/2 c
- cut up rhubarb
How to make rhubarb bread:
Blend brown sugar and oil until smooth. Add egg, buttermilk and vanilla, then add dry ingredients. Fold in rhubarb and nuts. Pour into 1 large or 2 small pans, greased and floured. Bake at 325° for 1 hour.Topping: Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over top.
