Rhubarb bread
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour
- brown sugar
- oil - 2/3 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- sour milk or buttermilk - 1 c
- diced fresh rhubarb
How to make rhubarb bread:
Beat sugar, oil and egg; add salt and vanilla. Mix soda into sour milk and add to first mixture. Mix well. Add flour, then rhubarb and nuts last. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans and top with crumbs made of 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 tablespoon butter and 1/Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Breads, Weeknight.
