Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- brown sugar
- oil - 2/3 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- walnuts - 1/2 c
- sour milk or buttermilk - 1 c
- rhubarb, chopped fine
How to make rhubarb bread:
Combine all ingredients in order given. Mix thoroughly until moist. Pour into two greased bread pans. Combine 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon of butter. Mix until crumbly and sprinkle on top. Bake at 350° for about 1 1/2 hours.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Breads, Weeknight.
