Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- coarse salt - 1 Tbsp
- celery seed - 1 tsp
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- white vinegar - 1 c
- sliced onions - 1 c
- sliced with peel cucumbers - 7 c
- red pepper, chopped for looks - 1 item
How to make refrigerator pickles:
Combine cucumbers, onions, salt, green and red pepper and let stand for two hours. Drain in colander. Combine and mix well vinegar, sugar and celery seed. Pour over cucumbers and let stand in refrigerator for 4 days. Pack in jars and keep refrigerated.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Summer, Seasonal.
