Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 c
- vinegar - 4 c
- celery seed - 1/2 Tbsp
- mustard seed - 1/2 Tbsp
- turmeric - 1/2 tsp
- onions - 1 item
- pickling salt - 1/2 c
- cucumbers - 1 item
How to make refrigerator pickles:
Use a one-gallon wide mouth jar. Slice cucumbers and onions thinly and layer tightly in jar. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over cucumbers. Shake daily. Store in refrigerator. Ready to eat in 5 days.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Summer, Seasonal.
