- cream cheese - 8 oz
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour
- stick margarine - 1 item
- vanilla flavoring - 1 item
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 1 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- vinegar - 1 tsp
- red food coloring - 1 item
- Crisco oil
- Add sugar, oil and vinegar
How to make red velvet cake:
Beat eggs well. Add sugar, oil and vinegar. Mix well. Sift in flour and soda. Add milk slowly. Add flavoring and red food coloring. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Makes 3 layers.Frosting:1 box confectioners sugar8 oz. cream cheese1 stick margarine vanilla flavoring Soften cheese; beat with butter. Add flavoring and confectioners sugar. Mix well.
