- c sugar - 2 item
- stick Oleo - 1 item
- c buttermilk - 1 item
- 1/2 c chopped pecans - 1 item
- t salt - 1 item
- 1/2 c self rising flour - 2 item
- t vanilla - 1 item
- t vinegar - 1 item
- t soda - 1 item
- 1/2 t vanilla - 1 item
- t cocoa - 2 item
- Bottle Red Coloring - 1 item
- c Crisco Oil - 1 item
- Frosting:1 large and 1 small Cream Cheese
- 1/2 Box Powdered Sugar - 1 item
How to make red velvet cake:
Frosting:1 large and 1 small Cream Cheese1 1/2 Box Powdered Sugar1 stick Oleo1 1/2 t vanilla1 1/2 c chopped pecans1 1/2 c chopped pecans Cream sugar and oil, add dry ingredients. Add eggs, vanilla, and food coloring. Mix well. Add vinegar to buttermilk, let stand one minute, and add to batter. Grease and flour three pans. Bake 30 minutes at 375 degrees.FROSTING: Mix all ingredients well, and spread on cooled layers.
