Quick spanish rice
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 5/8
- hot water
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- fat - 1/4 c
- beef bouillon cube - 1 item
- cans 2 c - 2 oz
- can lunch meat, cut in thin strips - 1 oz
How to make quick spanish rice:
Cook green pepper, onion and rice in hot fat, stirring constantly, until lightly browned. Dissolve bouillon cube in hot water; add to rice along with the tomato sauce and meat; mix. Bring quickly to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered 5 minutes or until rice is tender. Makes 5 servings.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Side dish, Main dish.
