Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar, packed
- liquid shortening - 2/3 c
- egg - 1 item
- sour milk or 2 tsp - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- soda baking - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour
- diced rhubarb
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- granulated sugar
- butter or oleo - 1 Tbsp
How to make rhubarb nut bread:
Topping:1/2 c. granulated sugar1 Tbsp. butter or oleo Stir ingredients in order given. Pour into 2 well-greased and floured loaf pans 2/3 full. Sprinkle topping over each loaf.
