Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- egg - 1 item
- warm water - 1 c
- melted shortening - 2 Tbsp
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
How to make quick rolls:
Sprinkle yeast over warm water; add sugar and salt with 1/2 the flour. Put in beaten egg and melted shortening. Mix well and add the rest of the flour. Cover and let rise until double in bulk. Put in greased muffin pans or make into 12 rolls. Let it rise. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Rolls/biscuits, Yeast breads.
