Ingredients/Components
- scalded milk
- small yeast - 1 Tbsp
- shortening - 2 Tbsp
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 4 c
How to make quick rolls:
Put hot milk into large bowl; add yeast, shortening, sugar & salt. Add flour, 1 cup at a time and knead until it pulls away from bowl. Let rise, work down. Put in pans, bake at 350 degrees 20-30 minutes depending on size of loaves.I double this and mix with my food processor using the bread tongs.
