Quick and easy chicken cacciatore
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- can tomato paste - 1 1/2
- Italian seasoning - 1 tsp
- broiler-fryer chicken, cut up - 3 3
- red Burgundy wine - 1/4 c
- medium green pepper, cored and cut into rings - 1 item
- medium onion, cut crosswise into thin slices - 1 item
How to make quick and easy chicken cacciatore:
In a 10-inch square baking dish, arrange chicken, skin side down, with meatiest portions toward outside of dish. Arrange green pepper and onion slices on top.In medium mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Mix well. Pour over chicken and vegetables. Cover. Microwave on High for 15 minutes. Turn pieces over and baste with sauce. Microwave for 10 to 15 minutes longer, or until meat near bone is no longer pink.
