Barbecued beef brisket
Ingredients/Components
- garlic salt - 1 item
- onion salt - 1 item
- celery salt - 1 item
- large beef brisket - 1 item
- liquid smoke approximately 1/2 bottle
- barbecue sauce homemade or bottled - 1 item
How to make barbecued beef brisket:
On both sides of the brisket, sprinkle celery salt, onion salt and garlic salt. Place brisket, fat side down, in pan and pour liquid smoke over it. Cover and place in refrigerator overnight. Next morning, take out of refrigerator and let stand at room temperature for about 1 hour. Turn fat side up. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 275° for 4 to 5 hours. Pour on desired amount of barbecue sauce. Cover and bake for 1 more hour.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Roast beef.
