Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- evaporated milk
- ginger - 1/2 tsp
- ground cloves - 1/4 tsp
- eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
- heavy whipping cream, whipped
- canned or cooked and pureed pumpkin - 2 c
- 9-inch unbaked pie crust, chilled and shaped - 1 item
How to make pumpkin pie:
Garnish:1/2 c. heavy whipping cream, whipped Preheat oven to 425°. Mix together the eggs, pumpkin, sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and evaporated milk. Pour the mixture into the chilled and shaped pie crust.Bake in oven for 15 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350° and continue baking for 40 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center of pie filling comes out clean. Cool on a rack. Garnish with whipped cream.
