sugar - 3/4 c
cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
eggs - 2 item
vanilla - 1 tsp
salt - 1/2 tsp
chopped nuts - 1/2 c
flour - 2 c
nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
baking powder - 1/2 tsp
baking soda - 1/2 tsp
shortening - 3/4 c
raisins - 1 c
cloves - 1/2 tsp
mashed pumpkin - 1 c

How to make pumpkin cookies:

Beat shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla until smooth and creamy. Add mashed pumpkin; stir well. Sift together flour, baking powder and baking soda; add spices. Mix well. Add raisins and nuts. Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet. Bake at 375° about 10 minutes. They will not be browned on top.
