- eggs - 4 item
- water - 1 c
- oil - 1 tsp
- Crisco oil - 1/2 c
- plus 1 tsp - 1 Tbsp
- Blend all ingredients in a large bowl
- serving pkg - 1 oz
- Duncan Hines cake mix any flavor - 1 pkg
How to make pound cake:
Preheat the oven to 350°. Blend all ingredients in a large bowl. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Bake in greased and floured tube pan (10-inch) or fluted for 45 to 55 minutes until center springs back. Cool 25 minutes, then invert onto serving plate.Glaze:1 c. powdered sugar1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. milk1 tsp. oil Combine. Add more powdered sugar to thicken if needed or liquid to thin. Spoon over cake.
