Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- milk - 1 c
- vanilla extract - 2 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- large eggs - 6 item
- self-rising flour - 3 c
- margarine - 1/2 lb
- lemon extract - 1 tsp
- plain Adluh flour - 3 c
How to make pound cake:
Start with cold oven. Do not preheat oven. Cream margarine, shortening and sugar together. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.Step 2: Add flour and milk alternately, again mixing well after each addition. Add extracts. Pour batter into a well-greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325° for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
