Ingredients/Components

• sugar
• eggs - 5 item
• milk - 1 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• sticks margarine - 2 item
• baking powder - 1 tsp
• shortening - 1/2 c
• plain flour - 3 c
• margarine - 1/4 c
• lemon extract - 2 tsp
• Add eggs, one at a time

How to make lemon pound cake:

Cream margarine and shortening with sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Add extract. Bake in a large tube pan at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes. Glaze.Glaze:1/3 c. milk1/4
