Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- butter
- almond extract - 1/2 tsp
- lemon extract - 1/2 tsp
- ginger ale or similar soda - 7/8 c
How to make pound cake:
Cream butter and sugar. Stir in eggs and extracts. Beat in flour and ginger ale, alternating the two. Pour batter into 2 (9 x 5-inch) pans that have been greased and floured. Bake at 275° for 1 hour and 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Lunch/snacks.
