Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- whipping cream - 1/2 pt
- flour Red Band all-purpose - 3 c
- large eggs, added one at a time - 6 item
- sticks Parkay margarine or Land O Lakes butter your choice - 2 item
How to make pound cake:
Cream eggs, sugar and margarine. Add whipping cream and vanilla. Mix well. Add flour (sifted), salt and baking powder. Pour into 3 small pans or 2 loaf pans or tube pans, greased and floured. Bake in cold oven at 350° for 1 hour and 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Lunch/snacks.
